And on the top of it, the baton is also beautiful, reflecting the gorgeous material Phil is using and the masterful way he treats them. Phil’s craftsmanship is absolutely astounding. His batons are so responsive and they feel totally natural in your hand. I have steered away form wood shafts in the past, but I find Phil’s to be the exception. The baton amplifies even the smallest gesture and It has become such an extension of my arm that at times I forget it is in my hand. In addition to his craftsmanship, Phil is a fantastic person to work with. Originally, when I needed some adjustments made to the baton handle, he went above and beyond to correct the adjustments, to the point of crafting a whole new handle. He was dedicated to getting things right, even know I was particular. I really enjoy working with Phil and can promise you that you will not find a batter baton.
