The PaGu Process
A great baton handle for many grips preferences: Basic fulcrum users like to have the security of the feeling where the handle and stick meet. Behind the collar users like the beautiful curve for their thumb to rest on. Tension free users like the ball resting in the palm of their hand. In-line users like the way the ball of the handle rests in the palm, while the collar of the handle fits nicely between the first and second fingers.
If you are ordering this baton for use with a basic Fulcrum grip, please indicate in the comment section if you would like this handle to be 2-1/2" (6.4 cm) long instead of 2-5/8" (6.7 cm). Depending on your hand size it may fit better a little shorter.
This baton feels GREAT with a flat spot!

I am now on my second Rex baton, one white and one natural shaft to fit our different rehearsal spaces. Phil’s craftsmanship is second to none, and his customer service is top notch. He worked with me to find a handle and grip that would fit my hand and style, and his recommendations turned into two of the most comfortable and beautiful batons. I would highly recommend the Rex to anyone with a larger hand, the shape of the handle is perfect for a behind the collar grip.
