The great Alfred Reed told me once that "The difference between keeping and losing your job can be a pencil."
As conductors, our "office" is often an auditorium with no pencil sharpeners. I get often have been frustrated on the podium when my pencil breaks and often there is no sharpener in our environment. This is why I decided to make classy, durable, wooden pencils that will fit nicely in the PaGu Batons leather and wood cases. Being prepared helps us set the example.
The trim is made of 24kt gold applied via a "premium rack plating" process and is covered with an epoxy coating for extreme durability. We use the same finish on our writing Instruments as our batons which allows you feel the natural wood.
