This model was our first designed to relieve the tension that is normally in the forearm from a pinch style grip. Is held with the middle and ring fingers while the first finger and thumb are floating on the stick. This allows the larger/stronger muscles in your arm control and hold the baton taking the tension off the forearm and rotator cuff. It was with the help of my dear friend Phil Christner of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra that this model was born.
